AJR WINTER TRAINING 2017
Winter Training practices will consist of training on the erg, strength and conditioning training, as well as general training for cardiovascular fitness, core strength, and flexibility. Athletes new to the sport of rowing will receive learn-to-row instruction on the ergs (rowing machines) as needed and novice level rowers will focus on refining their technique on the erg while crosstraining to improve their fitness, flexibility, and strength.
Time: Practice for all rowers begins Tuesday, January 3, 2017. Practices will be held Monday through Friday from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. through March 3, 2017.
Location: Practices will be held at the Evolutions Body Clinic located at 1834 George Avenue, Annapolis, MD 21401 and at Camp Woodlands’ Elizabeth, 2744 Riva Road, Annapolis, MD 21401
Cost: $350 – For January and February Training. Please contact Coach Denise (firstname.lastname@example.org) if you would like to sign up for February only.
Practices will alternate daily between Evolutions and Camp Woodlands. The women will start January 3rd at Evolutions and the men will start January 3rd at Camp Woodlands. Men and women will alternate daily between each site.
